Lance's "Baptism"

While I was cleaning the kitchen Lance pulled up a chair to the kitchen sink and was playing with the water from focet (as he has often done). As long as it keeps him happy and out of trouble I usually don't have a problem. There are usually lots of bubbles and water all over the kitchen, but that is much easier to clean up than most of the things he gets into!



Afton was happy in her swing by Lance, and I was sweeping the floor when I here Lance saying, "Mommy! Mommy! Look! I'm baptised!"



Lance had filled up the sink, by putting the stopper in, and had gotten completely inside while he was fully clothed.

I couldn't help but laugh!

"Lance! What are you doing!"
"I'm baptised Mommy! Like Jesus!"
"Yes, that's right. Jesus did get baptised."
"And I 'cieve the Holy Ghost!"
"Oh, you recieved the Holy Ghost?"
"Yeah."
"So you are getting babtised in the sink?"
"Yes."
"But you have all of your clothes on!"
"It's okay Mommy."
"Okay you silly boy."
