Today I decided that I wanted to get some cute pictures of my adorable kids together. I should have known that it wouldn't work out quite as I had planned.
Afton was all dressed up... but screaming, and Lance decided to take off the cute shirt I just put him in.. but he was well behaved. (Sigh) what to do? =)
Sometimes when Afton is crying and he wants me to pay attention to him instead of focus on her he will say, "Mommy, put Afton in her bed." I will tell him that Afton needs me because she is just little. He scrunches up his face and says, "Peese Mommy? Jus put her in bed!"
After Afton finally went down for her nap I decided to do a fun activity with Lance and make cookies. We made a lot of extra cookie dough so we could save them in the freezer for easy cookie-making in the future.
Lance really loved this and especially loved that we were making "snakes" (as he called them). With each "snake" I would make he would pick it up and pet it, and sing to it, and tell it that he thought it was a good snake.
"You're a good baby snake! A good baby snake!"
"Rock-bye baby on da tree top.. bough brakes cradle falls... down will come baby, cradle and all."
