John & Christine had their baby today!!! They decided to have the gender of the baby stay a surprise so the delivery was VERY exciting! There were lots of family mebers in attendance for the birth. Some who were running a lttle late (myself included) made that little baby wait a few minutes longer to be born for the "party" (and as Dr. Jones (Uncle Ryan) stated) to arrive. It was definitely a great Birth Day party for the baby.

We all welcomed little Evelyn into the world and were SO excited that we get another girl in the family! Evelyn evened out the score of boys vs. girls for the Covey Family. Now Lance and Johnny-boy have each other and Afton and Evelyn have each other too.
It was so fun to watch my brother (the father) Johnny see that his new little baby was a girl. His face lit-up and he litterally jumped and said, "It's a GIRL!" He was so genuinely excited... he looked like a kid at Christmas who just got the greatest gift ever. I am so glad that I was able to be there and see such pure joy and a true miracle.
We love you John & Christine and are so happy for you and your precious family. Evelyn is so beautiful and I can't wait to spend countless afternoons with our kids playing together and growing up as best little friends.
