High School Reunion

Michael had his 10 year High School Reunion and got to get together with lots of his friends that he hasn't seen in a long time. We went to most of the scheduled activities and Michael even got to hang out with a lot of his classmates at a local Boise bar/club (don't worry, although he had to be 21 to get in, he stayed sober the whole time)! Michael's mom, Kathy, was so wonderful and offered to come with us and watch the kids. She stayed with her long-time friends Nelda and Lyle (who are so sweet), and Michael and I stayed with our great friends Kyle and Malaena Kelson.



We also got to see a lot of his family friends and go on an awesome river rafting trip! We went with Wayne and Sandy Hoover, their son Brannen and his wife, Monte, Patty, and Kevin Christopherson, and a few other people we met that day.





Wayne Hoover was Michael's Scout Master while he was growing up and Michal has told me so many stories of Wayne and the "boys" and all their adventures (snow-caving, hiking, rafting, camping, eating Wayne's famous dutch-oven meals...). Wayne and Sandy were so great and let us all use their rafts. It was awesome! It was my first time and I really liked it! It was a little scary at times, but no one got thrown out of the boat and we all made it safely home!
